Why We Make It
What sets King components apart is our focus on the details. There are plenty of other lockrings on the market, but we wanted our wheels to have a lockring consistent with their quality, look, and functionality. Basically, we can’t just leave well enough alone if we think we can make something better.
Why You Want It
The King lockring is aluminum with a steel crush washer and has a classic King lasermark to match our headsets and rims.
We spent a lot of time on the exact shape of this piece. In addition to the subtle shaping of the front, the knurling on the back has a very specific shape, so it threads on easily, but it resists coming loose. It also matches the color of your other King components.
